Naksa Parbat believed to be built in 14th- 15th century AD is situated in Seijusa which is small beautiful town of this district. Naksa Parbat is an archaeological site with flat piece of land measuring about three acres which is surrounded by ancient rampant. Some of the significant archaeological findings are ring well, few sculptural pieces, plinth of houses made up of stone etc.
Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary/Pakke Tiger Reserve covers an area of 862 sq km and is spread over some of the finest lowlands forest of the state. It is bounded to the east and to the west by the Pakke River and the Kameng River respectively. |
